You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service. By using Asothia, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

To access our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential;
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access;
  • Ensuring your data is up to date.

Asothia is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

5. User Content and Rights

You retain ownership of the data you submit. By uploading or submitting information, you grant Asothia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • Generate anonymised insights and derivative works to enhance grant matching and analytics.

We will never sell your personal data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful or harmful activities;
  • Attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the platform;
  • Scrape or extract data from the Service without written permission;
  • Publish, resell, or misrepresent content or data obtained via Asothia.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Subscription Plans and Fees

Access to Asothia may include freemium and premium features. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to our applicable pricing and billing terms. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@asothia.com. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. We may retain limited data as required by law or for legitimate business interests (e.g. backups, legal compliance).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the platform and its features, including but not limited to our matching algorithm, databases, visualisation tools, and branding, belongs to Asothia Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Service without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asothia shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities;
  • Service interruptions or delays beyond our control.

Use of the platform is at your own risk. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of England.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
